Not to be confused with Nutritional Psychotherapy or Medical Nutrition Therapy, Nutritional Therapy is for general health and is not intended to treat, diagnose, or cure a disease. Rather it is intended to support foundations of health for general wellness. Please note that I am not a dietitian.

My Holistic Nutritional Therapy offering focuses on a holistic approach. Instead of conventional meal planning or calorie counting, it emphasizes the integration of diet and lifestyle changes for enhanced overall health. This approach contrasts with conventional nutrition (from dietitians), which tends to be limited to aspects like following a low-fat diet, weight management, tracking macros, or managing blood sugar for diabetes. My nutrition service provides a comprehensive method using nutrient-dense, whole food nutrition aimed at revitalizing your health and helping you feel wonderful again.
Nutritional Therapy involves a nutritional assessment, which is a formal process for identifying areas that require the most focus (see charts below). This includes tailored food and lifestyle recommendations, supplement suggestions (when necessary/desired), and continuous follow-up sessions to ensure you remain on track for optimal health.
My philosophy is about making small adjustments toward nutrient-dense, properly prepared whole foods with what you are already eating. Swapping simple ingredients for better quality can go a long way!
If you seek personalized nutrition support tailored to a specific non-commercialized diet (like paleo, AIP, keto, or vegetarianism), I can customize my recommendations accordingly. I recognize the bioindividual needs of each person and we will collaboratively come up with something that aligns with your personal health goals. I avoid recommending commercial diets (such as Weight Watchers or Atkins) due to their inherent financial interests and biases.

If you're not quite ready to do the package or you live in a more restrictive state, try my nutrition group instead! It's a great introduction to what I do and an excellent gateway into a ketogenic lifestyle, if that's your goal. Otherwise, you can schedule a single nutrition session, but you won't get any package bonuses.
If you are in Utah/Idaho and want a more comprehensive approach specifically for mental health, check out nutritional psychotherapy.
Here are a couple examples of some of the insight you'll see as part of our work together:
*The metabolic blood panel is for informational purposes only. You'll need to find your own phlebotomist, which typically costs around $20.
