Lab Testing
While it's important to focus on epigenetics first and to support basic foundations of health such as diet, sleep, stress, and exercise, sometimes we want quantified data to give us some direction. This is where lab testing comes in.
Many lab tests are available to help you determine if you have food sensitivities, nutrient deficiencies, hormone imbalances, toxicity, and more.
Any purchased tests will be mailed to you. Depending on the administration requirement, you may be able to collect a sample at home (i.e. blood spot, saliva, or hair), or you may need local phlebotomy services to draw blood. Once the sample is collected, it is mailed back to the lab for testing. You will receive your test results when testing is complete.
While I am legally able to order these labs for you, I do have a food-first philosophy. Labs can be more costly because insurance may not cover them. They may also not always helpful. However, I like to have these available for those who wish to do them. I most likely won't push lab testing on anyone unless you ask for it or if I feel like the data would be particularly helpful for you.
