EMDR

Eye-Movement Desensitization and Resprocessing (EMDR) is a trauma therapy. It's been around since the 1970's and only certain therapists with proper training can practice it.

Even though I do EMDR, I tend to be more solution-focused rather than trauma-focused. If you want to dive into heavy trauma and make that your main focus for therapy, I may not be the best therapist to serve you.

However, I'm happy to help you navigate the "little t"  traumas. Sometimes, a "big T" trauma inadvertently comes up while processing, and I do have experience with this, so we'll play it by ear at that point, if it happens.
